Spain have been incredibly popular in the betting to win this summer’s Women’s European Championship, according to the latest figures obtained at William Hill.
Now as short as 13/8 to lift the trophy, Spain were priced up at 3/1 when the market was initially formed in January 2025. Meanwhile, Sarina Wiegman’s England are second favourites at 10/3 to retain the crown.

The defending champions have shortened slightly from 4/1 while France and Germany are next up in the market at 5/1. With just days until the 2025 Women’s Euro tournament gets underway, Spain are all the rage in the betting.
England have had to deal with several off-field issues in recent months and Wiegman will be hoping that things go to plan throughout this summer’s tournament. The Lionesses had a tricky spell en route to the finals but that’s all in the past now.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “The Women’s Euros kicks off on Wednesday and punters are siding with Spain to seize the crown from England.
“Having opened at 3/1, Spain have been smashed into 13/8 and are now the clear favourites for the tournament, ahead of the Lionesses at 10/3. England have come in for support having opened at 10/3, but it is Spain whom we have laid the most money on at this stage.”
England and Spain are widely regarded as the clear top two women’s teams in European football but there is a fair chance that the pair could clash at the semi-final stage of the competition.
If both teams finish at the top of their respective groups, they will meet in the semi-final and that will be a spectacle that you will not want to miss.
