A CCTV police appeal has been launched after a man was left with serious injuries following an attack outside a pub on a West Midlands high street.

The male victim was left with serious facial injuries following the alleged attack, which unfolded in the outdoor area of a pub in Stourbridge.

West Midlands Police are now directly appealing to members of the public for information following the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, May 25.

As part of their appeal, the force has issued two images of a bearded man they wish to speak to following the attack.

Officers added that they have been carrying out enquiries of local CCTV.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said on July 2: “Recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after a man was assaulted in a pub in Stourbridge.

“The victim was in the outdoor area of a pub on the High Street in the early hours of Sunday 25 May, when he was assaulted and left with serious injuries to his face.

“We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries as part of our investigation, including a review of local CCTV, and we’re now asking for your help.

“If you recognise the man pictured, or have any information which could help our investigation, call 101 quoting crime reference number 20/251660/25.”
