A teenage boy has appeared in court charged in connection with an alleged attempted murder in Glasgow.
Regean Higgins appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court this afternoon.
The 18-year-old, from Glasgow, was charged with assault to danger of life and attempted murder.
Police responded to a report of a disturbance in Ashgill Road, in the north of the city, on Monday, June 23.
The incident involving three vehicles and a pedestrian unfolded in the street which runs through the city’s Milton and Springburn areas, at around 6.55pm last week.
The pedestrian, a 22-year-old man, was struck by a car and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
His condition remains unknown.
Police said they believed it was a “targeted incident” and that enquiries are continuing.

They added that they do not believe there is any wider threat to the public but that officers would remain in the area at the time, as they urged anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said previously: “Around 6.55pm on Monday, June 23, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian on Ashgill Road, Glasgow.
“The 22-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a car and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. From investigations so far, this is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no wider threat to the public.
“Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and a police presence will remain in the area. Anyone with any concerns, or information, can approach these officers.”
