Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the latest episode to air on E4 and stream on the Channel 4 service.
Hollyoaks has aired a split for a beloved couple in tonight’s episode.
The latest instalment of the soap Jack Osborne and Pearl Anderson go their separate ways as things got too much for her.
Frankie recently confessed her feelings for Jacob Omari, unaware that he’s still being forced to work for Clare Devine by spying on the villagers. The episode began with Frankie having followed Jacob to the caravan, where Clare is keeping both him and Bobby Costello.
Bobby heard the two talking outside and managed to hide just in time. Frankie assumed Jacob had been squatting at the caravan, which allowed to him to say that his mum Kat is in prison (she is, in a sense, because she’s still under Clare’s control).

Back at the Osborne household, Darren revealed the planned trip to take Lexi to South Africa to see Sandy wasn’t tomorrow as planned, but today.
Tony Hutchinson turned up and revealed to Darren that he slept with Mercedes McQueen the previous night — which might ruin his chances of getting back with Diane.
Darren agreed to go the pub to talk it over but Pearl, who overheard the whole conversation, told Darren to stay and finish packing like he promised. But she was ignored.
A few hours after, Darren returned home drunk to find Nancy furious at him. Jack tried to defend him, which only served to annoy Pearl. When Darren disagreed with Frankie over Jacob, he shot Pearl down when she once again tried to speak up.

Clearly having had enough, she took her apron off, threw it at Darren, and said: “Seems like none of the women in this household have an opinion.”
Later on in the night, after Darren, Nancy, Lexi and co had set off to the airport, Jack approached a tearful Pearl in the kitchen and asked what’s wrong.
“Everything’s wrong,” she said. “I’m sorry. I don’t think I want to do this any more, Jack.”
Just before the episode ended, Jack forbade Frankie from sneaking out in the night to go and see Jacob, clearly angry and upset from his break-up.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
