In just a matter of days Oasis Live ’25 will officially get underway as the Gallagher brothers bury the hatchet after 16 years.
The tour, which was announced last summer will include 19 dates across the UK and Ireland over the next few months.
It all kicks off this weekend in Cardiff as the Principality Stadium comes alive with the sounds of Oasis’ biggest tracks. They’ll play both Friday and Saturday night in the Welsh capital, before heading to Manchester for a series of homecoming gigs this July.
The band will play five dates in Manchester – the 11,12,16,19 and 20 of July at Heaton Park – with around 340,000 gig-goers expected in total, plus all the music fans descending on the city.

While Oasis will then head to London for shows at Wembley as well as dates in Edinburgh and Dublin, with it being just over a week until the Heaton Park concert dates, many fans have started to make their travel arrangements for the shows, and Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have urged concert-goers to allow plenty of time for getting to the gigs.
In a unique twist for the Heaton Park shows, there will be two sections for fans, to ensure fan safety and improve the fan experience whilst entering the site.
The Safety Advisory Group for the Heaton Park shows has divided the concert arena into two areas: a General Admission area and a Front Standing area each with a dedicated ticket and entry gate issued in advance.
For those heading to the shows, it will be essential to enter the park from the correct entrance depending on whether they were successful in getting Front Standing or are staying in General Admission.
Now, a venue map has been published on ticket site Gigs and Tours detailing the various entry points, as well as the stage position and where the merchandise and food and beverage stands will be located in Heaton Park.

Between the Corner Gate and West Gate on Bury Old Road there will be the General Admission Entry Gates, while between the South Gate and East Gate there will be entry on Sheepfoot Lane for Front Standing.
It is worth noting that the map states that no General Admission entry will be allowed from Sheepfoot Lane.
This entry point is closest to the Bowker Vale tram stop which will be the main stop for those attending the gig.
If you have a ticket for front standing at Heaton Park, the advice from TfGM is to get off at Bowker Vale, which is the closest stop to the venue entrance on Sheepfoot Lane.
The Heaton Park stop, which is closer to General Admission entry will be closed at 9pm on all nights, so Bowker Vale will be the main stop for travelling back to Bury and the city centre after the shows for all those attending.

As well as the access points, the map shows where the temporary bus station within the park will be located for those getting the shuttle bus from the city centre.
There will be frequent shuttle buses from Lever Street in the Northern Quarter, which is an 11-minute walk from Piccadilly train station and a five-minute walk from Piccadilly Gardens – from 1.30pm on each event day.

The last bus will depart at 7.30pm. It has been advised to travel early to avoid missing the start of the gig as later buses will be very busy.
Buses will start running back to Manchester after the event from a temporary bus station inside Heaton Park, from 10pm.
Limited shuttlebus tickets, priced at £10, are available – but these must be purchased in advance through the Bee Network app ahead of time.
Those arriving this way will enter the park via the North Gate of Heaton Park and it is the same for those arriving on the pre-booked Big Green Coaches.
All access points then merge towards the stage where Oasis will play their first Manchester show in over 16 years. The map also shows eight bars, a number of toilets and five merch stands dotted across the venue.
There are also 12 dedicated food stalls, plus a hospitality section wedged between the Valley Gate and Corner Gate.
While travel via public transport is advised to avoid lengthy journeys in cars, there is also a well signposted walking route.

This will take fans from Exchange Square/Victoria station along Cheetham Hill Road / Bury Old Road.
This is the best route to take before and after the concerts. It is well lit, and has plenty of services along the way. It’s also the most direct route from City Centre to the venue and back.
It is approximately a 50 minute walk along Cheetham Hill Road to the Park. Ideally, it is better to walk back to the city centre in a group or let someone at home know how you’re travelling back.
Note that there will be no onsite parking and no pick-up and drop-off facilities in immediate vicinity of the park.
For those who have to drive or need to be dropped off and picked up are encouraged to consider taking advantage of the 24 park and ride sites in Greater Manchester.
The park and ride sites on the Bury line are Whitefield (331 spaces and 13 disabled spaces) and Radcliffe – 480 spaces and 22 disabled spaces.
Heaton Park gates will open from 3pm on the shows days, and the music will finish by 10.30pm, though food vendors will remain open until 11pm.
