Jon Rahm is one of LIV Golf’s biggest hitters, so keeping him happy will be paramount for the Saudi-backed outfit.

Rahm jumped ship from the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf at the end of 2023, and he was a huge coup for them.

There was always a feeling that he could switch allegiances, after Rahm backed his countryman Sergio Garcia’s move to LIV in 2022, while he was still a PGA Tour player.

The Spaniard has won twice on LIV, although he is without a victory so far this season.

Rahm’s record of finishing inside the top-10 in every LIV event he played ended last week in Dallas, where he finished in a tie for 11th.

The 30-year-old has improved greatly in the majors over the past year, with three top-10s to his name in his last four starts.

Alongside Bryson DeChambeau, Rahm is one of the two biggest faces of LIV Golf, so catering to his needs should be one of the hierarchy’s main priorities.

However, the leaked LIV Schedule for 2026 has left many people completely bemused.

Jon Rahm expected to be ‘floored’ by 2026 LIV schedule

LIV’s failure to gain recognition from the Official Golf World Rankings is still proving to be a big problem when it comes to attracting more top players.

However, they haven’t done themselves any favours either, with their alleged 2026 schedule, as reported by the Sports Business Journal.

Venue Dates Riyadh February 5th-7th Adelaide February 13th-15 Hong Kong March 6th-8th Singapore March 13th-15th South Africa March 20th-22nd Mexico City April 17th-19th D.C / Virginia May 8th-10th South Korea May 29th-31st Spain June 5th-7th New Orleans June 26th-28th U.K. July 24th-26th Chicago August 7th-9th Indianapolis August 21st-23rd Michigan August 28th-30th

There are some really strange scheduling decisions there. The 18-day gap between the end of LIV South Africa and the start of The Masters will undoubtedly be a particular bone of contention with the players.

And Fried Egg Podcast host Andy Johnson suggested that Rahm will be furious with how the tournaments in 2026 have been laid out.

“I mean I know Jon Rahm is going to be licking his chops (sarcasm). I think he’s been cryptically saying it’s not the best way to prepare for majors, the current situation. So I know he’s got to be floored with the idea of prepping for The Masters with Riyadh, Adelaide, Hong Kong, Singapore and then South Africa three weeks before the Masters, that’s how you lead into The Masters.”

Jon Rahm’s LIV results in 2025

Rahm has been incredibly consistent this season, but his failure to win will be really frustrating for him.

Here is how his results in 2025 look:

Achievements Rahm’s finishes Events played 9 Wins 0 Top-5s 3 Top-10s 8

Rahm is immensely talented – he is simply too good not to have won yet.

And nobody would be surprised if he ends up with a couple of wins by the time the 2025 season is finished, and maybe a Claret Jug to his name as well.

However, he will need to improve on the greens if he is going to do just that. He is tied for 28th in the putting stats on LIV this season, and that simply isn’t good enough when it comes down to winning big tournaments.
