Xiaomi touts the latest version of its Watch S4 as “stylishly small” thanks to its new 41mm form-factor. The wearable is touted to be a complete health and fitness companion nonetheless, with over 150 work-out modes. It has been presented in a range of colors and cases and at a starting price equivalent to under $150.
Xiaomi has now formally introduced its latest smartwatch variant as its most “comfortable and fashionable” variant to wear thanks to its smaller and lighter design.
The Watch S4 41mm can indeed be as little as 9.5mm in height above the wrist, and weigh as little as 32 grams (g) on it. Then again, its new choice of bands and bezels (silver and gold metallic Milanese straps included) might change that somewhat.
Like the standard version found on Amazon, the S4 41mm has a physical button and a crown, the latter of which is diamond-cut in its gold edition. Plainer silver and gray variants that support the S4’s new minimum size and weight are also an option, though.
It supports the latest version of HyperOS 2 for the Watch series nonetheless, with support for features such as blood oxygen measurements, sleep quality, mood and stress.
The 41mm variant has a battery touted to last for up to 8 days per charge (although that might drop to 3 with an always-on display mode on.)
The Watch S4 41mm is now available to order from 999 yuan (~$140) in China.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
