Taskmaster spoilers follow.
Taskmaster has crowned its champion for the 19th season, which was dubbed “one of the best” in the show’s history.
Thursday’s (3 July) episode, titled ‘The Clever Side’, saw co-hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne return for one last time as Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jason Mantzoukas, Mathew Baynton, Rosie Ramsey and Stevie Martin competed for the highly coveted honour.
After 10 episodes of laughs and gaffes, Baynton was confirmed as the winner of the season, with the actor and comedian finishing 15 points ahead of closest rival Martin. Mantzoukas finished in third place, with Ramsey and El-Ghorri in fourth and fifth respectively.
While Baynton celebrated his triumph, fans of the series dubbed the latest season as one of the finest in the show’s history, with one viewer writing on X: “Best cast in a while. I wish we could have 10 more episodes. #taskmaster”

“I’m going to miss them all SO much I’d like to personally commission a show where they all travel around the world together (I can’t afford that and I have no authority but it would be great) #taskmaster” wrote another viewer of the cast.
“Sad that this series of #Taskmaster is over – it’s been one of my absolute favourites. Mat Baynton & Jason Mantzoukas in particular,” wrote one fan, while another noted: “Another excellent #Taskmaster series completed… already looking forward to the next series…”
