Marketed by London-based OpenRent, the Dixon Avenue property packs a surprising amount into a very small space.

The studio comes fully furnished with a four-hob stove and oven, an under-counter fridge, a wardrobe, and a TV mounted above a small desk.

It boasts a double ottoman bed with an orthopaedic mattress and “ample storage,” along with an en-suite toilet and shower.

The fresh sage green walls and grey hardwood flooring complete the look.

Initially listed for a staggering £1,235 per month, the rent has since been reduced to £1,100.

While the listing boasts an “all-inclusive” perk with utility bills and Wi-Fi included, tenants will still need to fork out for council tax and provide a £750 deposit to secure the flat.

And the price tag on this property has sparked outrage online.

Punters took to Reddit to slam the price of the flat.

One user said: “Absolute joker of a landlord charging over a grand for this “studio”.

Glasgow rent is ridiculous and it’s forcing people out of the communities they’ve lived in for years.”

Another added: “Heard rents were out of control but I didn’t know it was this bad. I used to see Dixon avenue for like £250-400 a month. Wow, I feel sorry for people renting!”

A third wrote: “Wow, that’s London prices 5 years ago.”

A fourth fumed: “This is like a prison cell. Literally why would anyone work 5/7 days a week for all their savings and income to be usurped from them only to live in this room?”
