Meghan Markle greenlights Prince Harry to reconcile with royal family

Prince Harry has reportedly won over his wife Meghan Markle to his plan of reconciliation with the royal family, preparing for a solo trip to the UK.

A dramatic shift stems from a growing realisation that involving the Duchess of Sussex is a non-starter if he is to build any bridges with King Charles.

“The Duchess of Sussex, currently focused on promoting her projects, has reportedly given Prince Harry her blessing to try his luck and pursue a reunion with the royal family,” claimed an insider.

“Despite Meghan’s greenlight, the Duke is reportedly hesitant to proceed with with his reconciliation plans, fearing his efforts may be met with rejection or further conflict given the family’s past drama.”

Meanwhile, a separate source told RadarOnline Harry has “totally accepted” that if any reconciliation is to happen with his family in Britain, it must begin without his 43-year-old wife Meghan at the table.

The insider went on claiming that Harry knows there’s no chance of a family reunion if his troublemaker partner is involved.

Harry and Meghan have been living in Montecito with their two children Archie, six, and Lilibet, four since the couple stepped down from royal duties in 2020.

The California-based couple’s rift with the Firm widened after a string of the Sussexes’ claims in Oprah Winfrey interview, their “Harry & Meghan” Netflix series, and the Duke’s memoir “Spare”.

They continued, “Harry really wants his family to show up and support the event. He understands that, in the royals’ eyes, he and Meghan together can be seen as a source of tension, so keeping some distance between them may be the only way to make progress right now.

“Meghan is very reluctant to go back to the UK, there’s a lot of bad blood and unresolved issues. But she gets that Harry wants to make things right with his family and is backing his decision to handle it on his own.”
