Black Sabbath absolutely stunned Villa Park crowds this evening as they took to the stage for their goodbye performance at Back to the Beginning.

Emotions ran high as the foursome took to the stage late into the evening after an absolutely stellar show featuring heavy metal legends around the world.

Our reporter Kirsty Bosley was there for the final show, a true metal head herself. And she had this to say once the foursome graced the stage:

“I screamed until my throat was bloody to see Bill. The lads are back together and this feels so good.

“War Pigs opener was absolutely phenomenal. The crowd is so loud.

“Grown men around me are openly weeping, and football stadiums are places built for that kind of joy and catharsis so, I love to see it. NIB is next and Geezer Butler played us in, his diamonds twinkling as he slid up and down that fretboard. Black Sabbath is ALIVE!

“Ozzy is bouncing in his seat, and was from the get go. It’s like he can’t get close enough to the action, he sounds spectacular. They all do. Iron Man is next. I might die.

Black Sabbath confetti and fireworks marked the end of a truly phenomenal show.

Ozzy said ‘I f***ing love you’ as the crowd is nothing but applause, cheers and whistles.

A night that will go down in history.

Stay tuned as Kirsty Bosley files her full review of the night later on.
