“An investigation has been launched by Trafford CID alongside our district Challenger Team, focused on dismantling serious crime in our communities, which has led to several property searches as part of enquiries. I would like to reassure the local community that we do not believe there to be a wider threat as a result of these recoveries.
“I want to thank the public for their vigilance in reporting suspicious behaviour and ask anyone with concerns around criminality to get in touch with your local neighbourhood team via the Your Area pages on our website.”
