A debut novel set in the New Forest has been written and published in just 43 days.
The Man Who Hired A Wizard by Thomas Sinkinson has already earned attention for its humour, quick creation, and local flavour.
The story follows Gawin, a bumbling three-foot wizard with a thick West Country accent, who is mysteriously hired by a failing tech firm to “handle the arcane threat landscape.”
Mr Sinkinson said: “I grew up in the New Forest, and there’s a quiet strangeness to those woods, like Godshill.
“It felt like the perfect place to set a magical breakdown of corporate logic.”
