UPDATE: Lancashire Police have now confirmed Tilly has been found safe and well

An urgent ‘call 999’ alert has been issued after a seven-year-old girl was reported as missing on Sunday (July 6).

Lancashire Police shared an appeal after the girl, named Tilly, was reported as missing from her home in Blackpool at around 5.50pm.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a blue tracksuit with pink stitching and white trainers, police said. She is described as having shoulder-length, mousey-brown coloured hair which may be in a ponytail and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees her or with any information about her whereabouts is being urged to call 999 immediately and report it to the police.

An appeal read: “This is Tilly, she’s 7-years-old and missing from home. We’ve been doing all we can to find Tilly since she was reported missing to us, but we’ve not yet found her and are now asking for your help.

“Since Tilly was reported missing to us, enquiries and searches have been ongoing offline, but we are now asking for your help.””If you see Tilly, call 999 quoting log 1116 of 6th July.”
