The summer window is in full swing now, and we’ve gathered all the top stories from the second tier in our latest Championship transfer round-up for the weekend.

While the first, very short transfer window was fairly uneventful for most clubs, teams across the Championship have really started to do business now.

Funnily enough, most of the headlines recently are surrounding Sheffield Wednesday, who may not be able to sign players but are looking at selling top talents like Pierce Charles and Djeidi Gassama.

Elsewhere, teams are making big moves and showing real intent for the season ahead. In particular, the likes of Birmingham City and Norwich City are really starting to splash out.

Find out all about those deals and the biggest rumours in our latest Championship transfer round-up.

One of the biggest stories in the Championship when it comes to transfers is around the future of Tyrhys Dolan. The Blackburn Rovers ace is now out of contract and is one of the most coveted free agents in the second tier.

He’s been linked to Norwich, Derby County, and Middlesbrough among many others. While the winger is thought to prefer a move to the Premier League or abroad, there is a chance he stays in the Championship.

Now, Bristol City have made an approach for Dolan. It’ll be tough to land the 23-year-old given his ambition, though, and we suspect this won’t be the last time he features in our Championship transfer round-up this summer.

West Brom sign Erling Haaland 2.0

The bad news for West Brom is that Mikey Johnston is set to join Flamengo in Brazil, in a deal worth around £5m.

However, Ryan Mason does have a new player coming in. Aune Heggebo has joined the Baggies from SK Brann in a reported £4.7m transfer.

The striker has been described as a combination of Erling Haaland and Steven Gerrard, and comes with a lot of promise after shining in the Norwegian league.

It’s getting harder and harder to keep Birmingham City out of our regular Championship transfer round-up. The truth is, the Blues have been very busy, and their latest signing is a real coup.

Many expect Kyogo Furuhashi to guide Birmingham to glory with his goals this season. That all depends on the service he gets, though he’s unlikely to struggle there given the players around him.

After the signing of Bright Osayi-Samuel and Demarai Gray’s return, the Blues have plenty of service out wide. Are we looking at the next champions of the second tier? Quite possibly.

Norwich City close in on £12m star

Most Norwich fans have come to terms with the fact Borja Sainz is leaving. The fact he may bring in £13m helps soften the blow in that regard, too.

But, given their business so far this summer, we know Norwich will reinvest that money wisely. By the sounds of it, £12m has been earmarked for Mathias Kvistgaarden.

An agreement with Kvistgaarden is thought to be close, despite links to the likes of West Ham and Celtic. The striker has been likened to Wayne Rooney and Henrik Larsson, which will surely get tongues wagging at Carrow Road.
