Henry Winter has criticised Dejphon Chansiri for the problems he has been part of with Wednesday.
And while much of the focus has been on players leaving Sheffield Wednesday this summer, there are plenty of staff behind the scenes being impacted.
Joe Crann and Alex Miller of The Star have been quick to highlight and praise them on the latest episode of the All Wednesday podcast this week.
Miller said: “In amongst the doom and gloom there are still people working hard at all levels.
“We’re speaking to people all sorts of departments at the club, there are some really good people there. This is a situation that’s hurting the fans, but best believe there are people at the heart of it who are hurting just as much – maybe more in many cases. Things are still ticking along in a lot of areas.”
Crann echoed: “There are a lot of people going over and above at this point. People in these situations, not getting paid themselves, and still trying to do their bit for the football club… I think the fact that Wednesday’s work is ongoing is real testament to the people that are there.”

At present, it doesn’t look as though the Owls’ financial problems will be ending anytime soon.
However, the club are expected to receive some small financial boosts this summer.
Sheffield Wednesday are in negotiations with Southampton for compensation over Sutura Kakay.
Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri is set to join Manchester City, while the Sky Blues are in talks for Romario Collins as well.
Should all three of those deals end up happening, Wednesday could receive somewhere around £2m in compensation.
