Perhaps she meant to help Jonas gain a more steady position within the team and in the eyes of public, but some of her statements could’ve hurt his image instead: “It’s just an unnecessary thing going on in the Tour life of Jonas Vingegaard at the moment. Let’s face it, everybody is talking about it in the cycling world.”
