The Brexit coin was minted in 2020, to mark the end of the UK’s 47-year membership in the EU.
One eBay seller in Ipswich is selling their 50p coin for the price of £35,086.72.
The coin features the inscription, ‘Peace, prosperity and friendship with all nations’, alongside the date of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU, ’31st January 2020′.
The other side of the coin depicts Queen Elizabeth II.
Other rare coins are being sold in the area for eye-watering asking prices, including one in Woodbridge for £10,000.
