A SCOTTISH Wetherspoons has been named one of the best in the UK.
The Caley Picture House in Edinburgh received nearly 4,000 five-star reviews on Google – securing its spot in third place.

The Bishop Blaize in Manchester was crowned the best in the UK with 60 per cent ‘excellent’ reviews.
Elsewhere the Royal Victoria Pavilion in Kent scooped second place and the Greenwood Hotel in London was in fourth.
The top ten in Scotland was also revealed, with The Prestwick Pioneer in South Ayrshire and The John Fairweather in Glasgow scooping second and third place respectively.
The study found the best rated by the average total percentage of excellent reviews on Google Reviews.
The research was carried out by online betting site Captain Caz.
A spokesperson for Captain Caz said: “Brits love going to their local Wetherspoons, particularly due to its low prices for both food and drink.
“As we look towards the summer with longer evenings and more trips to the pub, this study offers a fascinating insight into which ‘locals’ really are the best and stand apart from the rest.
“Whilst the top ten see a variation when it comes to location, it does appear that pubs located in the South have higher ratings than further up North.”
Elsewhere beer lovers will have access to a new Wetherspoons watering hole sooner than they originally thought.

A lot of work is needed to get the place in shape for punters, so the refurb won’t be finished until August.
But now, JD Wetherspoon has announced the doors will open on August 26, rather than the originally planned August 28.
