England have announced their squad for the third Test of the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series against India, with fast bowler Gus Atkinson returning to the side.

The third match of the five-Test series will begin on July 10 at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The series is currently tied at 1-1, after India bounced back with a huge 336-run win in the second Test at Edgbaston.

Atkinson, who last played for England in May against Zimbabwe, missed recent matches due to a hamstring injury. He was ruled out of the ODIs against the West Indies and the first two Tests against India but is now fully fit and available for selection.

Other than Atkinson’s inclusion, the squad remains unchanged from the second Test. Although Jofra Archer was included in the previous squad, he did not play as England went with the same playing XI from their win in the first Test at Headingley.

The remaining two Tests in the series will be played at Old Trafford from July 23 to 27 and The Oval from July 31 to August 4.
