A person has been taken to hospital after a bus collided with a pedestrian in Redcliffe.
Redcliffe Bascule Bridge has been closed and drivers have been warned to avoid the area while emergency services are at the scene.
Avon and Somerset Police were called to the scene at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, July 8.
A force spokesperson said one person has been taken to hospital.
Officers ask anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at around 3.30pm today (Tuesday 8 July) to a collision involving a bus and a pedestrian in Redcliffe Way, Bristol.
“One person has been taken to hospital.
“Redcliffe Bascule Bridge is closed to inbound traffic from St Mary Redcliffe Church to the Hole In The Wall pub. Motorists are advised to seek an alternative route.
“If you were in the area and witnessed the collision, please call 101 and quote reference 5225191660.”
