Peloton instructor Christine D’Ercole has officially signed a book deal.

Christine’s debut book, Talking to Myself, was announced on July 7, 2025. The title will be published by Putnam, an imprint of Penguin Random House, and was acquired at auction by Michelle Howry.

Christine shared the news via social media, writing:

IT’S HAPPENING. ✍️ 📖
‘Talking to Myself’ is a journey from self-harm to self-care through self-talk.
…Through story, commentary, writing and thinking exercises, this book provides very practical and powerful tools for navigating the terrain of our often deprecatory self-talk to change the way we think about who we are and who we are capable of being. In effect, this book is a guide to practicing agency and moving from negative to PRODUCTIVE self-talk.”

The book is described as a practical guide that weaves personal stories with exercises to help readers identify and rework unproductive inner dialogue. It aims to provide readers with tools for turning deprecating thoughts into empowering, actionable self-talk.

The project was represented by Melissa Rodman and Sarah Passick at Park & Fine Literary and Media, and it falls under the non-fiction/self-help genre. It is an expansion of Christine’s work as the creator of Wordshop, her signature workshop aimed at helping people transform the way they think and speak to themselves.

Christine first revealed that she was writing a book back in 2023. At the time it was unclear what type of book she was writing – whether it would be a biographical memoir, more along the lines of her WordShop workshops, or something else.

Fellow instructors Hannah Corbin and Callie Gullickson are both set to release books in 2025, and Sam Yo has confirmed he has a book in 2025 or 2026 as well. As a reminder, we have a complete list of books by Peloton instructors available via our site.

You can see Christine’s full announcement post via Instagram, where she also said she would be sharing more information (including release date) via her email list.

We will share additional updates regarding Christine’s upcoming book, including when it will be published, as details become available.
