Welcome to our regular post-race round-up, a final look at the action, where we’ll break down the best and the bonkers of F1 from across the weekend. From our favourite photos to the slickest fits we spotted, plus all the behind-the-scenes goodness you might have missed.

This year’s round at Silverstone delivered an unforgettable British Grand Prix, a thrilling 52-lap wet-dry affair that will go down in history with the all-time greats, alongside iconic races such as those in 1967, 1987, 1991, and 2008, among many others.

At the flag, Lando finished a dominant 37 seconds ahead of the nearest non-McLaren driver, but the rain ensured it wasn’t a simple 1-2 victory, as Lando and Oscar both delivered excellent performances.

While many of this weekend’s biggest talking points took place on the track, there was still a lot to love away from it, which you might have missed, including some rather distinctive trophies and unique behind-the-scenes insight from our social team. Here’s are some of our favourite moments.

Outfit of the weekend
There’s no place like chrome

The MCL39’s fit was pretty special, even if we do say so ourselves. Usually, we’d dedicate this section to a driver or fan, but the McLaren Formula 1 car stole the show in Great Britain, wearing a limited-edition livery enhancement, inspired by our chrome-coloured cars from 2006 to 2014.

The special livery, created in partnership with Official Primary Partner Google Chrome, was revealed at our McLaren Racing Live: London event, held in Trafalgar Square ahead of our home race.

It made it’s debut in Free Practice 1 on a record-breaking weekend for Silverstone, with 500,000 fans attending across the event, including those pictured here in Lando’s dedicated fan grandstand, Landostand.
