A Samsung smart watch that’s earned hundreds of positive reviews from shoppers has just seen a huge 34% discount in the Amazon Prime Day sale. Sporting several high-end features that are normally reserved for watches of a much higher price, shoppers have branded this watch a ‘bargain’ with it quickly shooting to the top selling spot on Amazon at the £39 price point [via Liverpool Echo].

Shoppers can choose from a variety of colours, including grey, pink/gold and silver, with the smart watch providing several convenient features like showing notifications from your phone on your wrist and music controls. Of course, there’s also plenty of fitness related features including a step counter and workout tracking.

The only major it’s missing compared to the likes of Apple Watches or Garmin devices is GPS. This means you’ll need to carry a phone with you on runs or cycles to track location data for the likes of Strava or Komoot.

The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is down to £39 from £59 in the ongoing Amazon Prime Day sale.

Alternatively, Very has various smart watches including the Apple Watch SE (GPS, 2024) from £219, as well as a £60 discount on the Garmin vivoactive 5 Music, GPS, WiFi which is currently down to £199.

Shoppers can also find a deal on the SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch FE with Bixby at Currys which is £70 off, now down to £129 and available in blue, pink, and black colourways.

Shopper Donna shared her thoughts in a five star review. She said: “Absolutely amazing, easy to setup, use and the accuracy against my others are amazing! Looks good and works great.”

Ian shared his experience and said: “A fantastic fitness tracker at a bargain price. I bought the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 just a few days ago, and I genuinely haven’t taken it off since. Sleek, lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable, this tracker has completely exceeded my expectations — especially at this price point.”

He continued: “The AMOLED display is bright and crisp, even in direct sunlight. Navigating through the menus feels smooth and intuitive, and it syncs effortlessly with my phone. From step tracking to heart rate monitoring and sleep insights, it gives me everything I need to stay on top of my health goals without overwhelming me with unnecessary extras.”

“Battery life is phenomenal — I’m days in and still haven’t needed to charge it. I also love the subtle, modern design. It looks just as good at the gym as it does in a casual setting, which is probably why I haven’t felt the need to take it off.”

“If I had to mention one downside, it’s that it doesn’t come with NFC support for Google Pay or Samsung Pay. That would have been a nice extra, but honestly, considering the value for money and all the features it does offer, I can happily live without it. If you’re looking for a stylish, reliable, and affordable fitness tracker, the Galaxy Fit 3 is a no-brainer.”

However, some shoppers have qualms with the battery life, which according to the product description lasts up to 13 days. This is evident in one review which reads: “I like this watch but if you use it as a fitness tracker your lucky to get 5 days out of a charge, I track one weight session and 2 1.5k walks a day and it’s run out after 5 days and didn’t give a warning of low power.”

A second shopper added: “I like thus watch but if you use it as a fitness tracker your lucky to get five days out of a charge, I track one weight session and 2 1.5k walks a day and it’s run out after 5 days and didn’t give a warning of low power.” – so this might be something to keep in mind.
