Josh Windass is among the players who could leave Sheffield Wednesday during the summer transfer window.
Amid Sheffield Wednesday’s transfer embargo, a number of current names have already departed and more are expected to follow in the coming months.
Djeidi Gassama is close to joining Rangers on a permanent basis, having agreed personal terms with the Scottish giants.
Manchester City are nearing a deal for Romario Collins, with fellow youngster Caelan-Kole Cadamarteri set to join the Sky Blues as well.
Meanwhile, it was reported last week that Josh Windass wants to leave Sheffield Wednesday.

Windass saw a one-year extension in his contract triggered at the end of 2024/25, but he is still said to be eyeing an exit.
Amid reports that the 31-year-old, who scored 13 Championship goals last season, wants to depart, some Sheffield Wednesday fans have been trying to pick out the positives of losing one of their top players.
On that front, the experienced midfielder departing could open the door for Charlie McNeil to get more minutes.
One fan wrote: “One beneficiary of Windass not being here could be Charlie McNeil. He can play in the 8 or 10 role and has pretty good stats. He would be unlikely to play in front of Josh, but he might get the chance to finally show what he has next season if there is a vacancy.”
A second replied: “McNeil and Cadz up top, could go well could not.”

A third stated: “May have no other option, but if it ends up being the case then I’ll support them all the way.”
“There has never been a better time to be a young player at SWFC, next year or 2 will be their time to shine if it’s in them,” another added.
A fifth Sheffield Wednesday fan echoed: “Every cloud and all that.”
While another tweeted: “Hope so McNeil young and hungry, quality player in my opinion can be anyway.”

Charlie McNeil Sheffield Wednesday stats
McNeil joined Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2024.
After much excitement around his signing, however, the 21-year-old only made seven appearances for the Owls across 2024/25.
McNeil featured on four occasions in the Championship for a total of just 55 minutes.
He played three times in the Carabao Cup, scoring a brace in his first match against Hull City on August 14.
