When it comes to Prince Harry, rumors about a possible reunion with King Charles and Prince William have become practically a royal tradition of their own. But a new report suggests a potential family moment might actually be on the horizon—and this time, it’s not about extending olive branches or behind-the-scenes phone calls. Instead, it’s all centered around an event that has deeply personal meaning for Harry: the 2027 Invictus Games.
Set to take place in July 2027 in Birmingham, England, the Games are already shaping up to be a major moment. Not just for the veterans and service members they honor—but possibly for the royal family, too. According to People, invitations have been extended to both King Charles and Prince Harry.

Helen Helliwell, CEO of the Invictus Games in Birmingham, told the outlet, “We will be delighted if they come over for the year out and for the Games… We are so far out it’s impossible for one individual to confirm their plans, but we would be delighted if the Duke were able to come.”
She added that Harry’s connection to the Games remains unmatched. “His passion is unsurpassed… He really brings a magical sparkle dust to his interactions.”
And here’s another layer to the timeline: The Games are scheduled to wrap up on July 17, which also happens to be Queen Camilla’s 80th birthday. So while the location is convenient, the date may complicate things for the royal calendar.

Still, with the Invictus Games returning to the U.K. for the first time in over a decade, the possibility of a royal reunion feels closer than ever. Stay tuned.
