A recent update to the official Alien: Earth website has revealed that FX will be releasing an official podcast for the show, alongside a new immersive experience where fans can explore some of the sets of Alien: Earth using virtual reality, and even watch the show itself in these locations in VR.

Bring the characters into your space with spatial images that add a new level of depth and realism. Launching with the premiere of Alien: Earth on August 12th, Alien: Earth – The Official Podcast will also be offered in spatial video, pairing the audio from each episode with visually rich imagery that provides an immersive viewing experience.

The website talks about both Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro, but seems to suggest that the Containment Room (aka the cargo hold of the USCSS Maginot) to be an experience specific to the Disney+ app on the Apple Vision Pro.
The website also features new publicity shots of the cast of Alien: Earth. And while we’ve known some of the cast and character details, the new shots also confirm further cast and character details.

Alien: Earth – The Official Podcast will be available on Apple Podcast & Spotify and currently has a short teaser for Alien fans to listen, featuring snippets of what the cast & crew will be discussing about the series.
