It’s a huge night for Manchester as Oasis have returned to Heaton Park after 16 years from when they decided to split.
It’s reported that around 80,000 fans showed up at the venue, with some queuing for hours before the gates opened at 3pm. After that, it was a 5 hour wait until the famous brothers appeared on stage.
The tour was announced last August and sent loyal fans into a frenzy as some spent hours waiting to get their hands on the golden tickets.
Their first performance was last week in Cardiff, but the hype has yet to die down as Oasismania has officially reached Manchester.
Oasis will be performing five nights at Heaton Park, sharing some of their biggest hits with new and old fans who have been waiting for this moment.

As they walked on stage, fans were concerned that Liam was still wearing his iconic parka even through the heatwave.
Speaking of the sweltering heat, fans were donned in bucket hats and chugging down ice cold drinks to keep them cool in the late afternoon sun.

While Manchester has been tipped as the most exciting venue for Oasis fans, some took to social media to complain about the noise of the crowd.
On a Reddit thread, u/Hot_Space82 wrote: “Is it just me or does this crowd sound dead?” as u/Consistent_Zebra_783 replied: “Ballot system. Front standing could just rock up anytime. Clearly was never going to be full of hardcore oasis fans. GA probably more rocking.”
Another fan, u/easy_c0mpany80 added: “the crowd seems quite tame in that right side tbh, seems to be a fair bit of space too. Everytime I saw Oasis I was always close to the front and you could barely move”
However, u/bradtheinvincible defended: “You stand in the sun for 5 hours and then feel like you can rage?” as others concluded it could be the sound quality on live streams.
