Alex and Sam Lowes led the way in the opening World Superbike session on Saturday at Donington Park.
On Saturday morning at Donington Park, it was a Lowes 1-2, Alex Lowes topped the timesheets for the bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team for the second time this weekend.
In second place was his twin brother, Sam Lowes. The ELF Marc VDS Racing Team rider ended Friday in third and kept his pace up in Free Practice Three.
Toprak Razgatlioglu could not match the Lowes twins as he ended the session in third place on the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team M1000RR.
After a difficult Friday, Andrea Locatelli was back at the sharp end as he ended the opening session of the day in fourth place on the Pata Maxus Yamaha.
Continuing his strong home round, Ryan Vickers started Saturday in fifth place for the Motocorsa Racing team.
Garrett Gerloff and the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team have made a step forward as the American rider ended Free Practice Three in sixth place.
Six-time World Superbike Champion, Jonathan Rea, was back inside the top ten at Donington Park as he ended the session in seventh.
Nicolo Bulega and Yari Montella put the Aruba.it Racing and Barni Spark Racing Ducati’s in eighth and ninth places.
Completing the top ten was the GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team rider Dominique Aegerter.
Two British riders were outside of the top ten, with Scott Redding in 13th place and Tommy Bridewell in 23rd after being involved in an incident early on in the session.
