With the summer holidays around the corner and current gorgeous weather, you might be considering a camping holiday in Wales and why would you go anywhere else? Campsites.co.uk have announced their best 150 campsites in the UK and 36 are in Wales.

From north to south Wales, with swimming pools, entertainment, games room, hot tubs and more there are some brilliant campsites. These are perfect to get away and enjoy the stunning scenery that Wales has to offer, with many in coastal locations.

Topping the list in Wales is Three Streams Glamping in Llanfairfechan. Nestled in an off-grid location within the charming coastal town of Llanfairfechan, Three Streams Glamping lies at the foothills of Snowdonia, looking up to the Carneddau mountains.

This is very much the luxury side of camping as pods come with a hot tub, ensuite bathroom, TV and more. No children allowed.

The second best campsite is Quarry Park Camping in Haverfordwest. There are nine non electric grass pitches and just four grass pitches with electric hook ups, as well as two yurts. Pitches have a fire pit and the site is surrounded by countryside and close to the coast.

In third place is Cosmos Camping in Llangadog.

A quiet spot that’s a haven for wildlife with an onsite coffee and bar cart plus a communal fire pit. Dog friendly too.

Fourth is Folly Farm in Kilgetty. From superstar gigs to cosy pubs, find out What’s On in Wales by signing up to our newsletter here.
