Murdered journalist Martin O’Hagan
A man has been charged in connection with the murder of journalist Martin O’Hagan.
The 42-year-old has been charged with fraud by false representation and is due to appear before Criagavon Magistrates Court on May 2.
He was arrested in the Sheffield area yesterday morning, with the assistance of Counter Terrorism Policing North East and South Yorkshire Police, and has been transported to Northern Ireland for questioning in the Serious Crime Suite at Musgrave Police Station.
A PSNI spokesperson said the 42-year-old was arrested “as part of the overall investigation”.
Detectives also conducted a search of a property in the Sheffield area as part of the operation.

The LVF gunned Martin O’Hagan down on the 28th of September 2001, as he walked home from the pub in Lurgan along with his wife.
No one has ever been convicted of the murder.
The Sunday World reporter was deliberately targeted because of his investigative journalism – and had been living under threat.
