A police investigation is underway after late-night reports of men fighting on a street.
Greater Manchester Police said a man aged in his 30s was found with injuries after the incident on Saturday night in the Stretford area of Trafford.
Violence flared shortly before midnight on Barton Road.
Witnesses reported police and emergency services at the scene near to the Melville pub on Barton Road. No arrests have been made and the man’s injuries are not said to be serious.
In a statement, police said an investigation was now underway.
Few details have been revealed, and it’s not known how many men were involved in the violence.
In a statement issued on Sunday, GMP said: “At around 11.55pm on Saturday 12 July 2025, we were called to reports of males fighting on Barton Road in Stretford, Trafford.

“Officers attended the location and located a man in his 30s with injuries that are described as non-life threatening and not life-changing.
“No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
No further details have been released.
