Four people have been arrested on the second night of TRNSMT – including one person who allegedly brought a knife to the Glasgow festival.
Cops confirmed that the revellers were apprehended in connection with various offences in and around the area of Glasgow Green following the event’s second night on Saturday.
The offences included breach of the peace, possession of a knife, drugs offence and breaching curfew.
Reports on each arrest will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: “Four people were arrested following the second night of a festival at Glasgow Green on Saturday, 12 July, 2025.
“The offences included breach of the peace, possession of a knife, drugs offence and breaching curfew.
“Reports will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Seven were arrested and charged following the music event’s opening night on Friday. The offences included police assault, assault, hate crime and outstanding warrants. One man was charged under suspicion of terror offences outside the festival.
The man, 55, was arrested for wearing a T-shirt allegedly showing support for the proscribed group Palestine Action.
The activist had allegedly been leafleting near TRNSMT festival, in Glasgow, when police charged him.
He was also alleged to be wearing a T-shirt from the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign (SPSC) which read: “Genocide in Palestine. Time to take action.” Police are understood to have confiscated the top.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 55-year-old man was charged in connection with an offence under the Terrorism Act for wearing a T-shirt expressing support for a proscribed organisation.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
