A new 30,000 sq ft gym will open at St Johns Shopping Centre in Liverpool city centre. XF Gym has signed a lease with RivingtonHark, owners of the shopping centre to open the site, which will offer training facilities and wellness spaces in the former Wilko store.
The new fitness hub will feature an open-plan workout zone, a women-only space, as well as a variety of fitness classes in its group exercise studios, including yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), boxing, dance, and cycling, along with changing facilities.
Work will begin immediately to create this new facility. It is set to open in the autumn of 2025.

St Johns Shopping Centre comprises 540,000 sq ft of retail and leisure offerings and St Johns Beacon.
Averaging one million visitors per month St Johns is home to a variety of popular brands, including JD Sports, Aldi, a Liverpool FC store, Sainsbury’s, Home Bargains, Argos and Matalan, as well as a selection of food and beverage, and independent retailers.
