During the episode broadcast on Sunday (July 13), an emotional Morgan informed presenters Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy, along with their celebrity panel, that she had received “got the all clear”.
Overcome with emotion, she began to cry as she struggled to maintain composure in front of guests including Conan Gray (singer), Sam Palladio (actor), Adam Kay (British TV writer), Laura Checkley (comedian), Aggy K Adams (actress) and Amy Macdonald (singer).

Tim offered a comforting hug as she continued: “I got diagnosed with breast cancer last October, so we got the all clear, like a week ago.”
The studio audience responded with a round of applause while Morgan added: “I was just going to say, check your lumps, your bumps and trust your gut and yeah, that’s it really,” reports the Express.
Tim acknowledged Morgan’s “really supportive friendship group,” prompting her to tear up again as she expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, including from the show’s team.
Morgan attempted to speak on “The love and support that I’ve felt,” but was moved to tears once more, assuring the celebrity guests: “I’m honestly not normally like this.
“It’s a big thing to go through,” Tim said, offering words of comfort.
Morgan, a regular on the show, recently opened up to her Instagram followers about her secret battle with the “earth-shattering” disease.

The cheesemonger shared a photo of herself from a hospital bed, accompanied by the caption: “In October 2024, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer. It was nothing short of earth-shattering. But we’ve done our best to keep it as normal as possible for our daughter.”
A part of the Sunday Brunch team since 2016, Morgan married Ben Carr just three years ago. Sharing an update on what life has been like for her while battling cancer, Morgan courageously recounted her journey: “Treatment is different for every person.
“No two paths are the same. But here’s what happened to me. I was given a week before chemo to get my affairs in order, which included cutting my hair off and undergoing IVF and egg retrieval, something I’m incredibly grateful I was able to do.
“Then came six months of weekly chemotherapy. The hardest thing I’ve ever done. Some weeks I sat for 13 hours at a time, thanks to my friends who kept me company. And for those who’ve been through the cold cap, you’ll know it’s no joke.”

Morgan admitted that she had to catch her breath and get through the toughest parts before sharing her story. She confessed that she had been completely unaware of cancer symptoms before receiving her diagnosis.
Keen to support others, she chose to bravely open up about her health struggles, hoping it could assist anyone facing similar challenges.
Morgan implored: “If even one person sees this and it prompts them to check a lump or get a second opinion, it could save a life. Please trust your gut.”
Sunday Brunch is broadcasted every Sunday on Channel 4 from 10am.
