Orlando Bloom sent a message to those who ‘don’t like’ Oasis after attending the iconic band’s second Heaton Park show.

Returning to Manchester for the first time since 2009, the reunited Gallagher brothers played their first and second of five nights in their hometown over the weekend.

Friday night (July 11) appeared to be the more star-studded of the two opening shows, with Pep Guardiola, Matty Healy, Vernon Kay and several Coronation Street stars in attendance.

The following evening (Saturday, July 12) saw a further 80,000 people listening to the iconic anthems as temperatures exceeded 30C.

Lord of the Rings actor Orlando had been teasing earlier in the day that he was in full Oasis mode, sharing a video of him singing Live Forever from a lavish boat.

Smiling to the camera, Orlando said with a big grin on his face: “It’s gonna be karaoke all night.”

Several hours later, Orlando returned to his story with a video showing he was listening to a playlist of the band’s setlist as he was being transported through the streets of Manchester.

“Road to Oasis. Could not be more f’in excited,” he wrote to his seven million followers.

Just several weeks after splitting up with Katy Perry, who he shares a four-year-old daughter with, Orlando managed to make it into Heaton Park to see Oasis in the flesh.

Opting to watch the concert from the VIP area, Orlando warned his fans that he was going to share many videos of him singing, a promise he made good on.

“If you don’t like @oasis swipe on. If you wanna see me run through some of my favourite karaoke numbers for laughs, here you are lol.”

After sharing many videos of him at the the gig, which he wore a white t-shirt and baseball cap to, Orlando reflected on his teenage days supporting Oasis

“My 16-year-old self who was Knebworth just let it all hang out in Manchester tonight,” he noted.

Having starred in Prime Video’s Deep Cover last month, Orlando and Katy recently released a joint statement through representatives to confirm that their engagement was off.

The statement read: “Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.

“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is — and always will be — raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
