Aston Villa could be on the verge of finally announcing a new signing.
It has been a frustrating window to this point for the Villans, with Zepiqueno Redmond representing the only addition after a free transfer from Feyenoord.
This has mainly seen exit rumours swirl around Villa Park, leaving many to question how much longer it will be until improvements are made to the squad.
It looks as if a deal could be in the pipeline within days or even hours, as a private jet looks set to land at Birmingham Airport on Sunday (13 July).

Departures have been firmly on the agenda in B6, with Emi Martinez being strongly linked with a move elsewhere.
The Argentina international has been the centre of attention as talk of a move to Manchester United continues to roll on as the Premier League season moves closer.
With that being said, a goalkeeper signing has been on the agenda in the Midlands after Robin Olsen’s contract exit to Malmo.
This has seen a number of targets be assessed, but it finally appears that the Villans have made a decision on their new number two.
It looks as if Marco Bizot is going to sign from Ligue 1 with a deal soon to be agreed, with an announcement potentially to be secured this weekend [The Mirror, 10 July].
This now looks to be edging closer to being announced after a private jet was scheduled to depart Brest for Birmingham at 4:10pm on Sunday [Flight Radar 24, 13 July].
The Cessna Citation Excel aircraft with the code SP-AIN looks set to land in the Midlands this evening, pointing towards a quick agreement.

There is no doubt that a second-choice option is needed for Unai Emery this season, after the unsurprising exit of Olsen.
The Sweden international was never particularly rated by the Villa faithful, but clearly made a difference in the changing room in B6.
With that being said, it now looks as if it will be the job of Bizot to take up that role at Bodymoor Heath once his move from Brest is confirmed.

It will certainly be interesting to see how the Dutchman fits in at Villa Park and whether this signing will kick Monchi and Co. into life as the window moves ever deeper.
