Police are appealing for information following a burglary and theft from an ATM in west Belfast.
A vacant commercial premises on the Falls Road was broken into and “extensive damage” was caused to the on site ATM before money was taken.
Police received a report regarding the incident on the morning of July 13.
“A door at the rear of the property had been forced open to gain entry and extensive damage had been caused to an ATM housed inside the premises in order to remove money,” said Detective Inspector McCamley.
“At this time we are working to establish exactly how much has been stolen.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and saw anything suspicious on the morning of Saturday, 12th of July, particularly in the Shiels Street or Brighton Street area, to call police on 101, quoting reference number 679 12/07/25.”
