“Shoutout to @celticfc what a gesture. Hail hail.”
Jazzy, real name Yasmine Byrne, was born in Dublin and was putting on a show on the Radio 1 Dance Stage yesterday.
The 28-year-old has been blazing a trail in the music industry over the last few years, regularly reaching new milestones.
She first started coming to prominence around five years ago as part of a group named Powerful Creative Minds, where she went by the name Jazzy Yaz.
Her solo debut single Giving Me was nominated for Best International Song at last year’s BRIT Awards and charted at number one in Ireland, making her the first Irish woman to do so in over 14 years.

It reached number three on the UK chart and was named the Official Charts Company’s biggest debut release that year.
But she missed out on the honour to Miley Cyrus‘ hit tune Flowers, beating the likes of Olivia Rodrigo and Noah Kahan to the award.
And at the 2025 BRITs, Jazzy earned a nomination for Song of the Year for Somedays with Sonny Fodera and D.O.D.
Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Stormzy, and even The Beatles were also battling it out in that category but the winner was Guess by Billie Eilish and Charli XCX.
Another fellow nominee for the award was Myles Smith with Stargazing who walked out on TRNSMT’s Main Stage yesterday.
The Nice To Meet You singer had fans divided a little over a month ago when he too donned the green and white in a video posted online.
