Private TGV line concessionaire LISEA will build France’s first independently operated maintenance depot on the main TGV corridor to France’s southwest, investing over 200 million euros in the project. The new site just south of Bordeaux will serve Proxima’s Velvet trains, the country’s first fully private domestic high-speed service, from 2028 — a major milestone in breaking SNCF’s control over rolling stock maintenance infrastructure.
