A weather warning is set to come into force later this morning across parts of Northern Ireland.
The yellow thunderstorm alert issued by the Met Office will be in place from 11am on Thursday, July 17, until 8pm on the same day.
The warning covers parts of Co Armagh, Co Fermanagh, Co Derry and Co Tyrone and parts of Co Antrim.

The forecaster said: “Heavy showers and a few thunderstorms may cause some disruption, particularly to travel, on Thursday.”
Giving further details, it added: “Showery rain will affect much of Northern Ireland at times Thursday, but is expected to be heaviest in the west. A few thunderstorms are also likely. 10-20 mm of rain could fall in less than a few hours, with 30-40 mm possible over several hours.
“Showers and thunderstorms will ease from the west during the evening.”

The Met Office say it’s set to be a maximum temperature of 23C on Thursday.
For the outlook for Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20, the forecaster added: “Sunny spells and frequent showers, some heavy. Showers will become isolated over southern parts during Sunday.”
