You can now stream Donald Glover’s acclaimed series Atlanta for free in the UK, but there’s a catch.
Season one of Glover’s series about two cousins trying to break onto the Atlanta hip hop scene has been added to ITVX as part of the streamer’s new ‘Taste of Disney’ collection.
Bad news if you were hoping to catch all four seasons of the Emmy-winning show, though.
As the name ‘Taste of Disney’ suggests, ITV has only added the first seasons of Disney+’s most popular shows to its catalogue. The list is to be updated in the coming months with some of the streamer’s very best, including The Bear, Andor and Only Murders in the Building.

ITVX has added all ten episodes of season 1 of Atlanta, which was first released in 2016. Created by Glover, who also serves as showrunner, the surrealist series has received rave reviews from critics and viewers alike.
On IMDb, Atlanta has been hailed as “phenomenal” in one user’s review, who urged fellow streamers to drop everything and “go watch it”.
Another fan praised the series for its “gritty, in-your-face” tone, saying it “realistically captures a slice of life rarely shown on TV”.
Someone else called Atlanta “a unique quirky take on the Black-American experience,” that’s “surreal at times,” “ambitious” and “never safe”.

Alongside Glover as Princeton dropout and struggling music manager Earn Marks, the series also stars Brian Tyree Henry as Earn’s cousin, up-and-coming rapper Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles.
Rounding out the cast of Atlanta are Deadpool 2 star Zazie Beetz as Van, Earn’s on-again, off-again girlfriend and the mother of his daughter, Lottie.
Knives Out and Get Out star LaKeith Stanfield stars as Darius, while several celebrities have guest starred portraying fictionalised versions of themselves, including rappers Offset and Soulja Boy, Liam Neeson, and Alexander Skarsgård.
Season 1 of Atlanta is streaming on ITVX now. All seasons stream on Disney+ in the UK.
