These residents are in phase two of the new service, with collections starting in these areas in October 2025.

Most residents will receive a 240 litre green lid recycling bin, 180 litre black lid general waste bin, 23 litre outdoor food waste recycling caddy, and five litre indoor food waste recycling caddy.

Cllr Geoffrey Blunden, portfolio holder for environment and sustainability, said: “We’re pleased to be moving into the second phase of our three-phase rollout of our new waste collection service.

“This is another key milestone in delivering a more efficient and environmentally friendly way of managing waste and recycling in the district.“

Residents will not need to be at home for the delivery of the bins and food waste caddies as they will be left outside of their property.

The council said residents in phase two should continue using their current waste collection bins until the new waste collections services begin in October 2025.

New Forest District Council said it will tell residents their collection day and start date by post a few weeks before their new waste collections start.
