Details have been announced about this year’s highly anticipated style evening at the annual Tramore Races in County Waterford.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, during the renowned Tramore August Racing Festival and it promises to be the highlight of the social calendar in the South East, transforming the seaside track into an evening of ‘hot to trot showcase’ of elegance and fashion.
A spokesperson for the organisers said this style evening will be sponsored by Waterford Castle, adding a touch of luxury to the prestigious occasion.
“Attendees will have the chance to win fabulous prizes, including a grand prize of a two-night stay at Waterford Castle, complete with dinner on one of the nights and €500 in cash,” said the spokesperson.
Additionally, three lucky finalists will each receive a fantastic runner up prize courtesy of Waterford Castle for their efforts in the fashion stakes.
Niamh de Brún, a high profile lifestyle content creator known for her keen eye for fashion has been tasked with the tough job of judging the event, and speaking ahead of taking place she said: “I’m really looking forward to seeing all the fantastic style on display at the races. It’s always a brilliant evening and I’m excited to see everyone’s take on race day fashion.”
“Expect some tough decisions – in the best way,” she added.
Louise Hurley, Group Team Leader of Waterford Castle Resort & Walsh Group Hotels, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership: “Waterford Castle Resort & Walsh Group Hotels are delighted to partner with Tramore Races for this year’s style evening – an event that celebrates elegance, community, and tradition.”
“We are proud supporters of local events in our community and look forward to a fantastic evening where racing meets refined glamour – all set against the beautiful backdrop of Tramore,” she said.
