Emmerdale spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (17 July), which is available to watch now on ITVX and YouTube but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale has revealed a major change in Nate Robinson’s death storyline – with Cain Dingle and Tracy Robinson finally ready to stop accusing each other of murder.
The feuding pair end their hostilities in tonight’s episode as Nate’s funeral unexpectedly brings everyone together.
Initially, Nate’s emotional send-off threatens to descend into chaos when the Dingles defy Tracy’s warnings to stay away from the church service.
John Sugden – Nate’s real killer – steps in and urges everyone to show some respect.

It’s an intervention that John may live to regret, as Tracy finally backs down and agrees that the Dingles can attend after all.
The gesture helps to build bridges between Tracy and Cain, who finally take a minute to reflect on their recent treatment of each other.
With cooler heads, Tracy and Cain are forced to admit that they both loved Nate and neither would have killed him. All of a sudden, John’s left feeling very uneasy, as Tracy and Cain want to team up and figure out who did.
In one key conversation, Tracy points out that Nate’s phone was planted in her house to frame her for his murder.

She says: “The one thing I keep coming back to is that Nate’s phone ended up at mine.
“It was used half a mile away from the village, but someone planted it back there. It’s got to be someone we know.”
When Aaron asks if Cain also believes the killer could be close, he replies: “Looks that way…”
Tracy and Cain’s new-found alliance pushes John to even more desperate measures in upcoming episodes, but is he in serious danger of slipping up?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
