Celtic have a number of celebrity fans across a broad spectrum of the entertainment industry.
Some of the most famous names in music and film support Celtic which includes Rod Stewart, Martin Compston and Lana Del Ray.
Just this year, Snoop Dogg declared his Celtic intentions twice as he admitted he would love to invest in the club and open up a burger van at Parkhead.
Even 50 Cent has admitted he loves Celtic as the Parkhead club’s famous fanbase grows. But it seems that another music legend Bobby Gillespie was star struck as he got involved in the 2025/26 Adidas away kit launch this summer.

Gillespie was recruited by Celtic to help launch the new kit and he appeared in the official video created by the Parkhead club and Adidas.
Speaking behind-the-scenes at the launch, the music icon was in awe at being involved with Celtic for the production
Gillespie told Celtic YouTube, “It’s amazing. Boyhood dream. I believe I’m a DJ here in the social club. When I’m DJing, Henrik Larsson comes up to ask me what song I’m playing.
“So I take the headphones off and give it to Henrik and he listens and it’s ‘Come Together’ by Primal Scream.
“And he’s like, “Yeah.”
Bobby Gillespie’s ‘crazy’ confession about Celtic legend Henrik Larsson
In the video, Celtic legend Henrik Larsson was heavily involved in the production and Gillespie admits that it was ‘crazy’ to finally meet the Hoops legend.
Gillespie continued, “Oh, it’s really crazy, you know? It’s like when you actually see your football and heroes in real life.
“It’s even crazier than seeing your rock and roll heroes.”
The continuous release of Adidas merchandise has drawn some furious reactions from the Celtic supporters but Gillespie seems over the moon at his involvement in such a big event for the club this summer.
