Leeds United have been busy on the transfer front this summer, with numerous new signings over the line already.

The Elland Road outfit have officially signed Jaka Bijol, Gabriel Gudmundsson, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Lukas Nmecha so far.

In addition, Sean Longstaff is reportedly set for a move to Leeds, while Anton Stach is said to have agreed terms with Leeds.

However, Leeds appear to have missed out on another of their targets, with Antonio Conte’s Napoli seemingly winning the race.

The player in question is Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, who Leeds have been in talks over.

Fabrizio Romano has taken to X to say Napoli are close to completing a deal with Torino for the “underrated” Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbia international had agreed to join Napoli in June and talks between the two clubs are now said to be at the final stages.

In addition, Napoli winger Cyril Ngonge is set to move in the opposite direction, with a verbal agreement now in place for the Belgian.

Other goalkeepers in Leeds United’s sights

Illan Meslier’s Leeds future is uncertain after Daniel Farke dropped the French goalkeeper from his starting XI late last season.

Although Milinkovic-Savic looks set to go elsewhere – along with fellow Leeds target Daniel Peretz, who could join Genoa – there are other targets in the Whites’ sights.

Lyon goalkeeper Lucas Perri remains a target for Leeds. Royal Antwerp’s Semme Lammens has also been linked with Leeds.
