Terence Crawford is getting ready his upcoming ‘super-fight’ with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
The 37-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska is set to challenge the Mexican superstar for his undisputed super-middleweight championship on Saturday September 13 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
‘Bud’ Crawford will make his first appearance at 168lbs when he faces Canelo, having spent the majority of his professional campaigning at welterweight, where he won the undisputed championship with a victory over Errol Spence Jr in July 2023.
The unbeaten American did make a move up to light-middleweight last August however when he dethroned Uzbek star Israil Madrimov of his WBA crown to become a four-division world champion in the process.
As Crawford prepares for what is undoubtedly the toughest test of his career, the boxing world have reacted to the 37-year-old’s new larger physique, after there had been concerns that he would struggle at a new weight class.
168..No Problem‼️
Crawford is really going to walk Canelo down..
Canelo can’t fight or counter off of the back foot..It actually makes him tired..😣#Boxingpic.twitter.com/DI5mpzJJ3q

Fans have commented on this across social media and they believe Crawford’s new found size could make a big difference on fight night.
“Brotha got big as s**. He WILL walk Canelo down. From the looks of it.”
“He’s in great shape. Im starting to believe.”
“Crawford might be bigger than Canelo on fight night.”
History beckons for ‘Bud’, as victory for the 37-year-old would see him write his name into the boxing history books by becoming the first male fighter of all time to win an undisputed championship in three divisions, having already achieved this feat at both super-lightweight and welterweight respectively.
