Chinese restaurants and takeaways form part of the nation’s favourite meals, but not all deliver a perfect hygiene rating.
A number of takeaways and restaurants failed food hygiene over the past year and we’ve got the list of Chinese restaurants and takeaways in Birmingham which received an unsatisfactory score.
Ratings will be separated into scores of ‘2’ (improvement necessary), ‘1’ (major improvement necessary) and the lowest of ‘0’ (urgent improvement necessary).

Inspections were conducted by the local authority and scores were taken from the Food Standards Agency website.
Anything below a ‘3’ (generally satisfactory) is considered a fail from hygiene inspectors
