The Slovenian veteran broke with cycling aesthetic norms in a big way on stage 12 of the Tour de France.
Yes, stage 12 of the Tour de France may end up being the day the race turned definitively in favour of Tadej Pogačar, the defending champion once again back in the yellow jersey after his win atop Hautacam.
But racing aside, the story of the day was undoubtedly Primož Roglič and his ankle socks.
He didn’t race terribly, for someone who has admitted he “doesn’t give a flying f**k” in what will surely go down as the quote of this Tour. Well, his clothing choices on stage 12 may now go down as the look of the Tour.
